Prosecco Project

Imagine if you will the year is 2018. You're working for an ISP, a household name and the impact of what you are doing has visibility and prestige.

Whilst most of what you have done thus far have been small though important features, the opportunity to take a bit more ownership over something brand new comes along. You can decide the stack, put it on the latest chosen platform and really get stuck into the modern libraries (of the time) in a way you couldn't previously.

Project Prosecco was the very thing. Prosecco was the project name with the idea that Prosecco (budget) is not quite as expansive as Champagne (premium) and so the brand Ruby was formulated to offer a more affordable option to consumers.

Sadly this was not to pan out and you can read more about that here.

The Ruby branding was almost fully realised, wonderful work from one of my favourite former colleagues Crystal Nunn, and a lot of the templates built before the plug was pulled. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted.
